Curriculum
Home Learning
At The Oaks, we pride ourselves on our curriculum offer in school and also out of school. As a school we have moved to using Class Dojo for EYFS and Year 1 and Google Classroom from Year 2 to Year 6 for our home learning offer. All pupils have individual logins and access to the online learning platforms. Please feel free to share any of the work you are doing at home by simply adding #OaksCPHomeLearning to your tweets.
Below are user guides on how to access each online platform and how to submit work.
How to access Class Dojo for parents
How to access Google Classroom for parents
If your child has any problems logging in, then please speak to the class teacher. At the bottom of this page there is also videos of how to access these for your convenience.
Staff will give feedback on home learning via Class Dojo and Google Classroom. Home learning completed well is acknowledged and praised. There may be issues arising from the work, which the teacher will follow up in lesson time or online. At the start of the week the class teacher will upload a timetable and any links to other websites will be included.
Other online learning platforms
As a school we have licenses to certain online platforms that we encourage children to access from home. The following online platforms children have their own personal login details for and these are placed in the children reading record at the beginning of the academic year. Staff can view what the children have accessed and use these to set tasks. If you need a new set of logins then please speak to your child’s class teacher.
